EVENT | ORGANISATION After the success of the 2019 anniversary edition, this year’s ZOUTE GRAND PRIX® was heavily impacted by the general situation in the world. But the popular classic car event in Knokke-Heist showed its class, reinventing itself as a private and hybrid event. We helped spread the news about this exceptional overhaul. ZOUTEGRAND PRIX TAKES SPECIAL ROUTE The Private Edition Normally, the ZOUTE GRAND PRIX ® attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to Knokke Le Zoute. For obvious reasons, an event of that magnitude was simply not possible in 2020. The organisers therefore opted to postpone the 11th edition, which had been scheduled for earlyOctober.Well, not completely. The prestigious classic car rallywas held as a private event without the participation of the general public. We notified the participants and event partners of the change of course in a personal email. Exclusive press event We also issued a press release to inform the fans of the new plans. And we invited a select group of journalists to Knokke- Heist for a press conference in which the organisers explained the decision to postpone the event and for the first time presented the cars included in the ZOUTE SALE ® by Bonhams. That was held in front of a small audience the day after the rally, with a live webcast on the British auctioneer’s website. A hybrid auction, then. This enabled car lovers across the planet to catch a glimpse of all those rare sports cars, online and in the media, ensuring the classic car event remained at the top of their mind.
